A new national survey finds that American women expect their cosmetics to deliver flawless skin and sun protection, more importantly than fashion-forward colors.
Here are some of the findings, from Medical News Today:
- When asked if they could only own one cosmetic product, over half of young women, 58%, say they want a product that delivers flawless skin tone
- Over two-thirds of women, 68%, say they would be willing to give up something for a year to have flawless skin — even chocolate (51%)
- More than half (56%) rely on cosmetics with SPF to provide protection from harmful UV rays
Most of all, women really wanted cosmetic products that would beautify their skin’s appearance. They felt that the canvas they were working with underneath their makeup, was ultimately the most important thing. We couldn’t agree more!
